I have over 30 years of music production and sound engineering experience using a wide range of music technology hardware and software.

 

I specialise in standalone music production hardware, such as groove-boxes and workstations, most notably the AKAI MPC.

​

I hold a First Class Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sound Art and Design, attained at the London College of Communication.

​

During my studies I built my own Aeolian Harp and played alongside renowned composer and musicologist David Toop.

​

David was also my dissertation advisor and helped me tackle the complex subject of 'environmental noise as a valid artistic medium', a first for the Sound Art department.

​

I also produce and DJ jungle/drumfunk/drum & bass under the pseudonym TYPE and I'm signed to the highly respected Rupture LDN.
